Florida Influencer Kicks Off White House Social Media Meeting by Praising Deportations: ‘Uber Drivers Finally Speak English Again’ (The Wrap)

The Trump administration continues to revamp how the Executive Branch interacts with the media, with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday hosting the first-ever “influencer meeting.”

The meeting resembled a typical press briefing — except it was not held in the White House press briefing room, the room was less crowded than usual and it featured several prominent pro-Trump creators and media members, including former Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

Spicer was seated in the front row next to Arynne Wexler, a conservative influencer with about 400,000 followers across X, TikTok and Instagram. Wexler, who dubs herself “just a nonlib girl in a superlib world,” was called on first by Leavitt.

“I can attest to the deportations in Florida — My Uber drivers finally speak English again, so thank you for that,” Wexler told Leavitt, drawing a few chuckles from the crowd, before asking about trans women participating in women’s sports.

What a mindless country we have become. Thing is, most of RW podcasters or whatever these wankers are, most of the 800 million followers they are always bragging about are russian generated bots

viewers to poison or otherwise harm themselves--sometimes irreversibly-- or to ignore the advice of their doctors.

I just love it.

Someday, a follow-up YouTube channel will tell the "rest of the story" (from the 911 calls until... I wait for that.

But, yes. The entire concept of "influencers" is unbelievably stupid.

4. I agree. This 'click bait' mania is getting out of control and these so-called influencers pat themselves on the back

way too much and think of themselves way too much.

If you ask me, most of them can take a flying leap off the nearest cliff. This is like songwriters, singers, comedians, actors, and other high-demand career categories.

If you ask me, much of the development in this Country comes from the efforts of tens of millions of us in IT and associated areas all across the Country, not just the few who try to grab the spotlight.
