Kennedy Advises New Parents to 'Do Your Own Research' on Vaccines

To Dr. Phil of course.
In an interview with Dr. Phil, the health secretary offered false information about vaccine oversight and revealed a lack of basic understanding of new drug approvals.
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. advised parents of newborns to “do your own research” before vaccinating their infants during a televised interview in which he also suggested the measles shot was unsafe and repeatedly made false statements that cast doubt on the benefits of vaccination and the independence of the Food and Drug Administration.

1. So, if your child is bitten or scratched by a rabid animal, do your own research.

And hey! Maybe by the time you learn about rabies, it will be too late.

2. Or, and hear me out here, we could all pool our resources in the form of our tax dollars

and pay professional researchers to do that research for us. Some kind of "National Institute of Health" or "Center for Disease Control" - perhaps some kind of "Administration for Food and Drug Safety" or possibly even a "Surgeon General".

It sounds useful enough that they could all be coordinated by a central department - maybe pair it with "human services" if there's not enough work there to justify a whole department. And it could link up globally to some kind of World Organisation for Health.

Just spit-balling but what do you think? It certainly seems a lot more efficient that every average American quitting their day job to research cancer, infectious diseases, and mercury poisoning.

3. "Do your own research."

Would you trust a doctor if he told you to diagnose yourself from random information from the internet? It's one thing to do some light reading online and find a couple of interesting ideas. But when it comes down to serious decision-making, you need accurate information to arrive at the correct answers.

You're not going to get any useful information from Bobby Jr. Of course, Bobby Jr. doesn't care if his information is true. All information is basically the same in his eyes. Trump couldn't have found a worse candidate for that job, which is why he nominated him in the first place. Trump wants all of his employees to be incompetent. Can't have Americans with a government that is responsive to their needs.

5. Yes, do your research, get about 1000 people test them see what comes out and then test 10,000 more

Check the results after certain periods of time and then make the decision on your baby which will be an adolescent by then. Whenever they say do your own research, I always think of people with their own labs and test tubes and microscopes, etc. That’s research, just reading online is not

6. There are 6 or more different flu shots

Single vials are mercury free - multi dose have mercury. Different flu vaccines have different ingredients to which some people may be allergic to like latex or formaldehyde. You can go on CDC’s website & see what flu vaccines might be best for you. I would definitely ask my pharmacist or Dr for the mercury free one even if it’s more expensive.

I read it’s cheaper for pharmacists to order multi dose so recommend a call before deciding where to get your vaxx.

Also, there is a super strong flu vaxx recommended for seniors. I would insist my grandkids got the mercury free flu vaccine.
