Rand Paul's speech against tariffs

Rand Paul (R - Kentucky) speaks in Congress to end the so-called emergency which enables rump to mess with tariffs. About half way through he clarifies what tariffs really are, and for this reason, it is worth listening to him:

Before you jump on me for posting a positive (for our side) speech from a Republican, I think that we are seeing a turn against rumpy by even those Repubs who are in favor of the destruction of our institutions. Rand Paul emphasizes his loyalty to rump, but even he is against what is going on with the tariffs, which are going to kill our country.

Except the part about supporting Krasnov.
Krasnov’s emergency declaration is illegal.

Rumpy is ruling by fiat. He must think, Wow, this is so easy. But I think that it is important that some Repubs, no matter how much we loathe them, speak up against their own actions. Rand Paul speaks about returning the tax decisions to Congressional power--this is good for our situation and will help dim-witted Repubs to understand why their store shelves are empty. They won't like it any more than we do.

Why do I have to figure out how to raise chickens when I don't want to? It's a sign of the times. I could eat eggs as well as my dog. It's a matter of food security. rump will never have to worry about food. He's fat, anyway.

At least we know why we are suffering. TRUMP owns it. Rand Paul mentioned that they had better speak up while they still can. We all had better speak up.
