We need to clean house and get this party aligned. There is a perception that the left caves on important stuff.

They ended up agreeing about quite a bit, however DH is still going to primary dems which is wrong. I agree with JC on this. And DH if someone at your pac is reading this, please stop sending me emails 😹

Then why do we care what you think? Asking for aging Gen Xers.

Other than youthful age, what are their qualifications?

What is their knowledge and experience with say, Medicare/medicaid, or any type of Insurance or insurance regulations? Or the VA?
Or say Social Security, or any other government program, like I dunno, USPS, transportation, education, labor issues?

How 'bout kitchen table stuff? taxes, wages, day care, housing?

Is this a learn on the job type of thing? Do they have initiatives? Is their staff gonna be all youth too, no party veterans ?

And Carville seemed a bit caught off guard by it too.

It is antithetical to the role, but maybe as was indicated in the interview: we've never had someone of Hogg's prominence in the role before, so the activity got more attention.

I do still think he should pick one role, regardless of the vice ch air history. He'd be a great vice chair, and he'd be great in recruiting new talent, but it's simply better for the party for the leadership positions to be neutral.

It is still gonna cause a ruckus when he eventually picks the Democratic seats his PAC Is going to challenge.

I would rather the leadership be neutral. If a primary challenge exists, I don’t think money should be distributed until the general election, to whoever wins the primary.

Hogg is definitely right that incumbents in their 80’s are not going to move the party forward. Durbin did the right thing recently in announcing his retirement. We need to see the same from Schumer. Even if he doesn’t retire completely, stepping down from leadership is a must.

I particularly agreed with the “stop being judgemental assholes to everyone” part. We have a real holier than thou problem that drives people away.

That was good. Hogg knows his shit, he’s well equipped for the political arena.
