I'll miss Rachel's coverage of the May 1 demonstrations tonight

She always started with the demonstrations and covered even the ones in the smallest towns, conveying just how many there are every single day. It was her coverage of this that got me through some tough times when it seemed like no one was speaking up. The demonstrations were a preview of the tanking poll numbers and the change in public opinion that we have seen recently.

The good news is that I've already seen coverage of today's demonstrations, and they look very impressive! to all who participated!

Health issues (minor, thank God) are preventing me and the hubby from participating today, but our spirits are there!

It was a large crowd, this time I saw more younger people too. Lots of horn honking as we did the march back and forth across the Napa River.

I'm glad I went.
