Warning not to order from Jolie Skin Co that makes the filtered showerhead.

This scummy company had an offer for filters only, no other charge mentioned. After I ordered it suddenly said I was liable for an additional $148.00. I immediately canceled yesterday 2 minutes after I ordered. They sent me an email saying sorry, but we are sending it and you have 10 days to send it back or be charged. They charged me $156.88 today so the charge must have been initiated yesterday. Lying shits.

Having a look at their website; I reckon it's a load of pseudo science and bullshit.

The actual shower head costs $148, so I’m guessing that they charged you for the filters PLUS the shower head. No idea how that happened (fine print? - e.g., buy the shower head and get filters at discount), but you should be able to cancel payment if you paid by credit card. Suggest calling the credit card company.

Only after you hit order does a notice come up that you are liable for $148.00. I figured they made the money on the refill subscription.

It usually is. They should have made it clear up front exactly what you were buying. Hope you can get your money back without too much aggravation.

Challenge the charges and refuse to pay. The company will back off because if the credit card company doesn't like their business practices, they can terminate their services.

Good luck.

I have had success ordering shower filters from Aquasauna for many years. They have great customer service and there have been no billing issues in the twenty plus years I've ordered from them. Sorry about your experience!
