BREAKING: The Trump administration confirms it has reached a settlement in principle with the family of Ashli Babbitt, the Jan. 6 rioter who was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer while trying to enter the House chamber.

The terms of the settlement are not yet public. DOJ and lawyers for Babbitt family say they have not signed the agreement but are working to get it on paper and signed within the next few weeks.
