For years, they took as evidence that Trump was loved by all of America because of the huge crowds he drew to his rallies, as Joe Biden and the Democrats could barely get a roomful of Democrats. That was all the proof they needed that America loved their dictator-wannabe.

But, it is reported that nationwide, the No Kings protest march drew over 12 million people! It was crowds marching against Donald Trump. How was that possible?

How will they handle such a stunning rebuke of their Leader? Will they impulsively resort to violence? Let us hope not.

No doubt, it was a crushing blow to their psyche.

What these jackasses have either forgotten or didn’t realize is that a parade that’s strictly military is B.O.R.I.N.G. There’s a reason why, here in the US anyway, when you see military in a parade it’s almost always in the context of a regular parade; marching bands, floats, cowboys on horseback doing rope tricks, etc.

We have a tradition of NOT having military-only parades. The few times we have had them was usually in the setting of a military victory (e.g., Union troops after the Civil War, after VJ Day/end of WW2). And Caligula’s birthday isn’t even close to any of those.

Oh, and they botched the reason for the parade. The 14th was 250 years since the creation of the Continental Army by the Continental Congress. The US Army wasn’t created until AFTER the Constitution superseded the Articles of Confederation. The Navy and Marines were created at the same time, too. Do they get their own parades? 😂

I have a thing about subscribing to the local newspaper so I’m a subscriber to Dallas Morning News. I read the letters in the opinion section today and all I can say is Fox is doing the usual job that they’ve been doing for decades. Most of the letters were approving of what Trump has done because they have bought Fox lies hook line and sinker.

You know the one about LA being on fire. And how everything was so out of control that of course the National Guard had to be called in and the Marines. That there was some sporadic violence and it was dealt with effectively by local law enforcement is not reported on. These people are sitting there listening to Fox all day long

They also will completely failed the report on the fact that Trump‘s birthday parade was a complete and total bust. I won’t watch the channel so I won’t be able to tell you how they’re going spin this. But I know they will spin it. Because that is what they do.
