I LOVE ICE

On Monday (6/9) 75 Democrats voted to express gratitude to ICE.

The resolution also "affirms that free and open communication between State and local law enforcement and their federal counterparts remains the bedrock of public safety and is necessary in preventing terrorist attacks; and expresses gratitude to law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, for protecting the homeland."

It's hard to take the below people seriously when they continue to vote to support ICE and continue to vote in support of the Republican agenda. My criticism is fair. Either you support a secret police force kidnapping innocent people and sending them to foreign torture prisons or you support the rule of law. Either you support Nazis or you do not. There can be no middle ground.
Here are all the people that voted to thank ICE and vote with Republicans (prepare to be disappointed):

That would be a good thing. We don't know who these thugs are or how they're recruited and trained. Maybe the locals can find out for us.

Any resolution that thanks ICE should be toxic and should not have been supported.

4. Maybe the Democratic Party is dead. I don't understand.

I’m assuming there is a lot they know that I don’t, but they need to explain it to me if they want to keep me a part of their party. Right now I don’t feel a part of their party. It’s only partially my job to know about and understand what’s happening. The party leaders (ie those in congress and state governments) have an equal obligation to educate me about what’s happening and why they are doing what they’re doing.

he did not feel comfortable voting against the resolution because of its condemnation of antisemitism, and praise of other law enforcement. You may wish to tar and feather him, or whatever, he's a young guy and I will gladly vote for him again next year, if there is one and you don't primary him over his vote for a frigging resolution.

Just voting in support and thanks of people kidnapping innocent people off the streets and sending them to foreign torture prisons in places like South Sudan.
While many on that list are telling the cameras they condemn ICE they are passing resolutions praising them.

That Does Nothing. NOTHING. It does nothing for antisemitism, it does nothing for the law enforcement, in does nothing for ICE. It just does something for you.

11. A "thank you"

Is an offer of gratitude and appreciation and even support to those being thanked.
A "thank you" is a very big deal.
In this case Congress is thanking a group that kidnaps people off the street in unmarked cars, no badges, no warrant and wearing masks so they can fly them to foreign torture prisons for the rest of their lives.

8. They actually voted for a resolution condemning antisemitism. They only read part of it before voting.

The Democrats are facing backlash online after 75 Democrats broke ranks to join Republicans voting for a House resolution, which expressed gratitude for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other law enforcement officers, in addition to condemning antisemitism.
The broader resolution focused on condemning the antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado, this month..

While also standing in front of cameras being critical of them. Sorry, that's some two faced bullshit and makes people feel they are being played for fools.
Either you support a secret police force kidnapping innocent people and sending them to foreign torture prisons or you do not. There is no middle ground.

I'm tired of hearing equivocation. Tired of nuance. Tired of parsing words and being told "it's just politics". Fuck that. Either they support Nazis or they do not. It's not more complicated than that.
