KC-135 Stratotankers are on the move
Ten or twelve of these planes supporting inflight refueling are currently over the northeast heading east over the Atlantic. They are probably helping combat aircraft to reposition from the US to bases in Europe and elsewhere, but could be positioning to refuel long distance bombers or some such.
Unusual to see this many tankers at the same time. Might know what they are up to in the next twelve hours.
