Once I got one of those in the mail from New Jersey. I had torn it open before I realized it had been sent to the wrong address. Put in my mailbox by mistake.

The last time I was on a toll road was more than twenty years ago in Indiana.

6. I too now miss my usual 2x a day calls from people worrying about my vehicle

I used to have some telephone friends trying to help me.
They used to call me maybe 5 to 8 times a week,,

You know… they were checking up on me…checking to make sure my vehicles had warranty repair coverages.

They were so concerned about me.

I miss those friends 😉

No toll roads in Thousand Oaks that I’m aware of.

I hate the idiots that send these out.

A lot of people have gotten bogus e-mails purporting to be from the Harris County Toll Road Authority. They’re fakes, sent by off-shore cyber-crooks trying to scam them out of their money.

I don’t doubt somebody’s trying to use a different name.

me problems! I better hurry and log in to fix it. Of course it was from a gibberish type sender, unrecognizable amount, but a rather formal looking text body. They spend some time on their scams, that's for sure.

‘ “Please respond” if this was not you at this link”

I bet u I’ve blocked about 500+ tel numbers,
And blocked maybe 200+ email addresses in the past few years

12. It's heartening to see that in this cynical old world there are still people who are willing to help out a stranger.
