Major home-goods companies are there for you, with at least three firms developing special collections that feature Trump, according to plans and proposed releases reviewed by Semafor.
One of the companies, Instant Pot Brands, noted that a portion of the profits from its forthcoming collection will be donated to the Trump Presidential Library. Instant Pot, which makes kitchen and home appliances, said in its release that it will offer a 45/47 Collaboration, including various items branded with those numbers and Trumps Make America Great Again tagline.
The company added that its collection is in collaboration with representatives of the Trump administration.

(3,043 posts)I assumed it meant that the company was making fun of Trump. But it looks like the tone-deaf company is partnering with maga. It looks like the private equity firm Centre Lane owns the company now.

(35,151 posts)"Alex Olson, deputy director of government affairs at Nest Point Associates which represents all of the companies listed in this piece told Semafor that the Instant Pot products, in addition to Lenox snow globes and ornaments, will be publicly available around July 4.
All proceeds from any sales of these products will be donated to the Trump Library, Olson said. All of these companies, including those not listed such as LLFlex and Anchor Hocking, are extremely supportive of President Trump and the MAGA Agenda, standing with the president with their efforts to onshore and show public support.

Glad they listed some of the companies in the article, so I know not to use them.
This is just pathetic.

(7,047 posts)Instant Pot and Anchor Hocking are upfront and in your face MAGA.
The lives of Democrats seem to mean nothing to them We and our children and grandchildren, immigrant laborers, and our earth burning up from climate change mean nothing to them.
I am appalled that they are catering to those who are intent on killing us outright or through the withholding of vital services.

(14,968 posts)What they call cooking around here is either fast food or opening up cans of different things and dumping them together. Serve with Mountain Dew or sweet (really sweet!) tea.
Still, I love my instant Pot and am disappointed theyd want to hitch their wagon up to that shithead.

(14,298 posts)But then, Lennox lost any design control in the late 90's when they got bought out by the group behind those weird Precious Moments products.
They are "Owned" by various American investment companies that specialized in higher end gift products and under the Lenox brand, used to pride themselves on very high end tableware "hand made exclusively in the US". Due to the Pandemic closure of their only US factory, their all their ceramics are now made in China on the same lines other gift ceramics are being made.

(7,776 posts)And sales have been in steady decline, guess they figure why not at this point.
Happens with most kitchen gadgets, salad shooter, juicers, George Foreman grill, showtime rotisserie, etc, etc. Half the country buys one and then their sales crater.
They have more competition now and theyre built well so they last a long time and dont need to be replaced.
