Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsChuck Todd is on CNN and he is shocked
that trump is not "meeting the moment" since he was a "victim of violence himself." He says that the country needs Presidential leadership now and the world does too because of the Iran/Israeli crisis. He is surprised that trump is not providing it.

(3,050 posts)No, Chuckie. Just because you saw that line in a movie from the 1940's doesn't mean that it works in real life.

(30,746 posts)Do yourself and the rest of us a profound favor, Chuck Todd: just fucking disappear, and don't return. This nation is in great need of brave, talented journalists right now---and you don't qualify.

(10,619 posts)... I guess it was logical for Chuck Todd to try comedy. Next stop, a seat on Gutfeld. Hopefully, Chuck can add some dirty words.

He didn't "meet the moment" the first time around, Chuckie. What made YOU think he would "meet the moment" this go-round?

(311,985 posts)Todd did say.. he wasnt Meeting the Moment. And said what this country Needs.
He could be talking about Joe Biden
senseandsensibility
(22,551 posts)up his comments by saying that Biden would have met the moment or something like that. But he didn't. At least not that I heard. I could only listen for so long.

(11,938 posts)I'm shocked that anyone could be this clueless to expect anything out of Agent Orange other than what we're witnessing.
Where's the evidence, Chuck, that Trump ever intended to 'meet the moment' beyond taking every opportunity to enrich himself? Leadership? When has there ever been evidence of Trump's leadership skills other running fraudulent schemes or ego-driven businesses (most of which went belly-up) while holding petty grievances against all critics/opponents?
His entire shtick is a blatant lie. He doesn't care about America. He doesn't care about his own supporters. He cares only about himself.
Everything else is irrelevant.
You're educated. You're presumably a journalist. You have no excuses for being so outrageously obtuse.
