Trump has not called Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz about Saturday's shooting as of Monday afternoon, according to a spokesperson for Walz.

Walz seemed to hint that Trump had not contacted him in a Monday tweet, in which he thanked Ontario Premier Doug Ford for reaching out.

"In times of tragedy, I’m heartened when people of different views and even different nations can rally together around our shared humanity," Walz tweeted on Monday.

Trump told ABC News on Sunday that Walz is a "terrible governor."

"Well, it's a terrible thing," Trump said. "I think he's a terrible governor. I think he's a grossly incompetent person. But I may, I may call him, I may call other people too."

Edited to add: of course, he hasn't. Why would he? What's in it for him? He wouldn't even do it just to make himself look good. He just doesn't care. Period. The victims were Democrats.
