Obama/Biden deported millions of people. what's the difference between then and now you ask...

Theatrics, for one. All this ICE and immigration barbie stuff is over the top to appeal to the base. It is aimed at making immigrants and their supporters the bad guys. Look at us we are the tough guys.

Technically 47 and Obama are using the same laws, but 47 is avoiding due process and ordinary
methods of peacefully deporting people. Obama didnt stage raids using paramilitary groups or
send the marines to deport your bus boy or roofer. It was all done systematically and quietly.

47 is trying to provoke a response that will justify his imposing dictatorship.

your thoughts?

Totally agree. Honestly, I don't think trump is even on track to equal Obama's deportations. Hope that continues. Silent Type Tuesday #2

People did complain - That's why immigration right groups dubbed him importer in chief.
But it's funny that RWers have taken that as a talking point. They used to say that Obama did " catch & release" and those people never showed up for their court dates. Funny how they are arresting folks at hearings and check ins that they have been going to for years. Exposing another stupid lie that liked to tell.

I don't support deporting anyone who has been here for awhile contributing to society.

Where I live, the immigrants I've met -- who might be missing a paper or two -- are better neighbors than the A-holes who hate them.
