Out of the blue, I got a check for $1.00 from the Treasury Dept

No explanation just an invoice with "INV 1.00"

Anyone else get something like this?

1. Our experience with the IRS this year is totally crazy.

Two years ago we were told we underpaid our taxes by $3600 roughly and would be receiving a refund? WTF? This is the exact amount that we paid! Ok, then. We'll see. So next we get a $100 refund that just says it's from 2024 overpayment???? Then the check comes and it's actually for over $3900???? They have no idea what they're doing after all the firings. I hope actually wealthy people aren't having this happen to them and I hope we get to keep the money - although I wouldn't be surprised to get even more communication from them and they take the money back. This is just plain weird!
