Could someone explain to me why folks at M$Greedia keep repeating crap like 'big beautiful bill'

They are normalizing fuckery. I have never heard a budget described this way.

The proposed One Big Beautiful Bill Act, also referred to as OBBBA, OBBB, BBB or OB3, is a budget reconciliation bill in the 119th United States Congress. OBBBA passed the House of Representatives on May 22, 2025, in a largely party-line vote of 215–214–1.

Apparently it is the ACTUAL NAME of the bill (so I have heard)... the legislation is literally tilted after an aliteration from nursery rhyme children's books by the Bernastein Bears (the B Book)...

Sad state of affairs indeed. And 40% of this country STILL thinks this is OK and normal and no problem...

Face it, Krasnov is FDR in reverse. The 100 Days is now BBB. They'll keep it this way until we tag it as satire.

But, remember, strength is weakness, patriotism is treason, insurrection is tourists. Every time they commit to these things they label it something else and Democrats can't tell the truth because M$M is owned and paid by the GOP.

The media uses the official name here, because "of course, that makes sense".

But when republicans don't want the official name, the media uses a different standard.

Democrats never called the ACA "Obamacare". That was the republican's derisive insulting name for it, always said with a sneer and implying some kind of big brother government control crap.

Did the media insist on using the official name then? Of course not.

They always give preference to whatever the right wing wants.

as perfectly normal and reasonable, with no worse than equal standing to the alternative, whether the alternative is the democratic view or simply the truth, normality, the constitution, the law, previously universally agreed ethics, etc.

The right-wing view is that if the truth or any reasonable journalistic coverage is at odds with their interests, then it's "radical left biased" to do anything other than the above, presenting the right-wing views with equal standing.

And the media, of course, agrees 100%. They briefly mention the facts that should raise 5-alarm outrage and scandal, but instead they do it indifferently and quickly move on to the next story.

He's a felon running the country like a corrupt, lawless dictator, yet the media will *never* treat him as badly as they dumped on gore for boasting about helping fund the internet or Hillary just doing her job efficiently.

They thought it would evoke "Trump-iness" vibes. But it's too Trumpy. It plays as cult pandering for hidden purposes of gulling. It has a very detectable smell.

They want it to seem perfectly normal for the oligarchs in control of the government to openly steal from the rest of us. They make their own rules so they get lucrative tax breaks while the non-rich get nothing but an increase in the debt of 3.5T on all of us; plus, eliminating our health care.

On top of already regressive tax from Krasnov tariffs.

It’s a big beautiful bill for oligarchs and a big shit sandwich for everyone else. We should call it “The Big Shit Sandwich” every time they call ot a big beautiful bill.

The corporations that own the mainstream media benefit from the tax cuts for the rich. Too much corporate control is not good for democracy in general.

I've seen :"Big Bad Bill" used a lot, but it's so reminiscent of the three little pigs that it doesn't have the impact.

But Moms Rising has done it. It is now the "Big Betrayal Bill." yo me.
