Pakistan nominates Trump for Nobel peace prize

Pakistan has nominated US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, citing his “diplomatic intervention and pivotal leadership” during the recent India-Pakistan conflict, which ended in a ceasefire after several days of cross-border shelling. The escalation followed a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam that killed 26 people.

If he wins, I’m resigning from the human race.

Sounds like payback. Maybe someone in pakistans corrupt government or military is funneling $ or RS into Trump coin.

So much for those bear hugs. Modi got rick rolled!

There have been years when they've received more than 200 nominations, so this action isn't particularly meaningful in and of itself. Also, they would not want to deal with the embarrassment of former winners sending theirs back. Or Alfred Nobel rising from the grave.

They apparently nominated him for 2026, according to the article. (The noms for the 2025 prize were due by the end of February 2025). Between now and the summer of 2026, it's unlikely that he'll be doing anything to bolster his 'candidacy'.

And his romance with nukes goes against their greatest concerns.

Not that it even matters anymore. Not sure why anyone gives a fuck who receives an award that’s been given to the likes of Arafat and Kissinger.

Fuck the Nobel committee.
