6. The fact that he keeps making statements like this will only serve to amplify a slow drip, drip, drip

of realization by the MAGAs most angry about the Epstein files that he is lying not just about the Epstein files, but many other things as well.

It's a slow process, but his obvious lies about Epstein are definitely getting some MAGA supporters to open their eyes to the truth about him. The more he lies or commits completely self serving actions (say, like a potential pardon of Maxwell) the more supporters he is turning aginst himself.
