Attack on Jimmy Kimmel not over yet, if you are one of the 289 Sinclair stations you will not

Get to see the Jimmy Kimmel show.

These vile right wing piles of shit are going to preempt it with some garbage, everyone in a Sinclair market call your station and scream at them.

Sinclair not airing Jimmy Kimmel Live! for local Seattle (KOMO) broadcasts despite the show’s dramatic return
Sep 23, 2025, 7:59 AM | Updated: 8:00 am

Sinclair wants Kimmel to apologize to Charlie Kirk’s family and make a “meaningful personal donation” to both them and Kirk’s nonprofit company, Turning Point USA.

Employees will lose their jobs, again.

Jimmy doesn’t need the money and would not do this in 1 billion years but for his responsibility, unlike every MAGA and Sinclair executive and White House person, Jimmy cares about his employees.

There are other ways to watch the show beyond over the air and cable systems, both of which are slowly losing their relevance. That’s the most interesting thing about this, the fleeting power of the old ways people consume media.

Whether it is streaming or cable or satellite that has an ABC station and if your ZIP Code is in a Sinclair area then that’s it.

Thankfully YouTube will run snippets of the show especially his monologue so everybody can see, we just hope everybody knows about it.

Hulu does play the show after it airs live and it’s not connected to any channel owned by anyone but Hulu isn’t cheap Also owned by Disney

That service provides them with their local network channel, unless there is no local network channel, but when there is that’s what they watch and if it’s Sinclair, then there’s no Jimmy.

Someone mentioned that it switches to the network feed if there isn’t HD from their local channel but I’m assuming most individual stations now have HD.

I have Comcast, which automatically shifts to the network HD station....so local channel 4 becomes network 104, and 104's guide says Kimmel is on tonight.
We shall see.

Of Americans who could’ve voted but saw no reason to be bothered to do so, to see this stuff and wake up and vote at least in the next two elections to save the human race.

And no human race is NOT an exaggeration, even though when we said this 4 and 8 years ago we were yelled at, I dare anyone to yell at us now!

...I doubt it will be broadcast, but perhaps.

Both the SD (channel 7) and HD channel (507) on Fios in the DC area show that Kimmel will be on, but it's a Sinclair station. The guide showed him the lineup after the suspension last week too, but who knows.

They own 40 per the research I did and Nexstar
32.

So yes the total number is less certainly, I don’t have time now but the question would be how many people represented by those Stations, whether it’s a total of 70 or 72, if they are big markets, big blue cities etc. then that’s not good.

I have no idea what ads they put on my ABC Sinclair channel and don't want to give them ratings by watching it, I tried to google and found nothing for my area, southern Oregon.

They don't get ratings by my watching? I haven't been able to record anything since my VCR, refuse to pay a service to do what use to be free.

We mostly stream but do have local channels.

They get ratings by watching but I don't believe they do by recording. If you can't record, I would bite the bullet and watch one newscast.

I believe the newscasts to be more effective because those ads are usually for locally owned, smaller businesses that will feel the impact of a boycott much faster than a huge, nationwide corporation.
