a malfunction, check if all the lights are working, and walk, carefully, in case it suddenly starts agaiin, as has happened to me several times.

and hadn't yet realized how emotionally fragile Alzheimer's people are, even those under treatment. S/he certainly didn't realize anything unpredicted would cause him to blow a paranoid hissy fit.

I imagine there's one more ex employee on the unemployment line even as I type this.
