Here's a good one

I just received 9 letters from all my docs and hospitals that I am a part of. Me and my wife are currently with Aetna, Medicare Advantage. It was quite a good deal 2 years ago. Now it's a friggin mess. Last year (this years coverage), Aetna made many changes, none of which were advantageous to the consumer. Now they are going to drop BJC Health Care, one of the top 10 healthcare systems in the country? I wish I could put the blame on Trump, but am unable to at this point. I'm sure it will all come out soon, as this will make big news.

I just called my PCP to find out which insurance companies they do accept. A BJC representative said they are still in negotiations with Aetna, and to stay tuned. If that is the case, why wasn't there any indication of this in the 9 letters? Why didn't my hospital and all my docs notify me?

This is all we need. Having a bunch of seniors freaking out trying to find their next carrier.

And yet another reason to improve medicare, and allow everyone to access it. Not in my lifetime.

It is unbelievable that I am even typing this, being from the richest country on the planet.
Do you think Trump is going to step up to the plate and get this resolved? Think again. It's tee time.

God help us all, as our country continues to go down the shitter.

There’s is no issue with whatever medical practice provided they accept Medicare.

EDIT: I meant to add I’m so sorry you’re facing this! I lay the blame squarely on the administration, who is doing all it can to enrich corporations, including medical, and impoverish regular people.

Medicare needs a huge makeover, if they want people back. Advantage through Medicare costs about 225 a month per person. Private healthcare is fully aware of this too. Grabbing 174 a month times millions of people is a nice chunk of change for them.

I don't know any senior that can afford to piss away 450 a month for 2 people. I get the difference between free and 450 a month. Plus private gives you other things Medicare does not. Dental, hearing, etc. Most of us have to do what we have to do.

P.S. I just talked to a friend, who so happens to be 85, and she told me her premiums doubled for next year. Thanks Trump.

Healthcare in this country is a total disaster. I don't say that lightly. And the GOP is currently out to destroy healthcare for all in this country. Their plan is apparently to starve the people and deny their healthcare. A lot of people will die. At a time when we can't get anyone to pick oranges or apples. Really makes sense, don't it?

In the mean time, Trump is getting a multi million dollar jet.

When is the hell are we going to fix this cluster f***? FOREVER!!!!
