Vance: The shutdown pain's gonna get a lot worse...(and says the quiet part out loud)

The more Vance speaks the more he convinces me that a ghostwriter wrote his bestselling book.

Vice President JD Vance was asked about the 42 million people who are expected to lose their SNAP benefits this weekend...

snip

“Well, here’s the problem,” Vance replied, explaining that in prior shutdowns, “sometimes the president has tried to make the shutdown as painful as possible on the American people.”

“I give the President of the United States great credit and the entire team for trying to make this as painless as possible,” he said, before blaming Democrats.

snip

“The American people are already suffering, and the suffering is gonna get a lot worse,” he declared. “Not because the President of the United States has failed to make the shutdown painless. He’s tried to do everything that he can to make it as un-painless as possible.”

Very normal, Christian behavior for a grieving widow and a man married to an Indian Hindu American who publicly said he wants her to change her religion.)

The kids At Turning Points asked VP lots of questions about our funding of Israel, Massie, Gaza war..The questions showed how anti war the young Republicans kids are. Lots of clips on X of JD trying to answer their questions. He threw Massie under the bus and gave bland answers on Gaza. (Most thought her speech was weird - kind of new age spiritualism Phoenix style or Sara Palin style)

known.

In a twisted way I kind of admire his self control -- he was able to keep a straight face without even cracking the smallest grin when he said one of the most obvious, ridiculous and biggest lies ever said in front of a national audience.

When asked why folks’ food stamps would fade,
JD Vance calmly nodded and said,
“The pain’s not too bad,
It could’ve been sad—
The shutdown’s just gently mislaid.”

He praised the Prez high and with grace,
For softening hunger’s embrace.
“The man’s really tried,
Though bellies are dried—
He’s made starving as painless a case!”

Then quickly, he shifted the blame,
Declaring the Dems were to name.
“They’ve deepened the plight,
Though Joe did it right—
It’s politics, not hunger, the shame!”

He claimed, with rhetorical skill,
That “un-painless” was pain, but less ill.
Reporters just blinked,
Confused and distinct—
Was this logic or Capitol swill?

So forty-two million may fast,
While talking points swirl and contrast.
The spin’s quite intense,
But makes little sense—
They can’t eat applause or broadcast.

That would mean he's tried everything to make it a painful as possible. Finally owning up to it, albeit by mistake.

we will still have Vance to deal with................and they will probably put Stephen Miller, or Russell Voght in as VP, and then impeach Vance to get him out of the way.........
