This is what we are witnessing in real time:

DECOMPENSATION

Over the last few weeks, we have seen an increase in the loss of inhibition of mood/temper and “foul” language usage. Disappearing are the formal constraints which would rein in his overt madness and now it really is Trump being Trump. The MSM has been playing games with this guy since the 1980’s and making allowances for behaviors and statements that would cause any other human to be fired, ostracized, and disowned by family. For them it was like having that favorite uncle who has been diagnosed as insane and hospitalized on occasion in “sanitariums” but is a riot because he “tells it like it is”.

Never mind that he is an incredibly destructive individual in every sense, “he makes us laugh” which is synonymous with “he helps us sell papers”.

But after some variable time, the defense mechanisms are penetrated and the psyche begins to deteriorate, first slowly, then picking up speed until crisis level is reached.

I have copied Wikipedia’s entry as it pertains to this condition:

In medicine, decompensation is the functional deterioration of a structure or system that had been previously working with the help of compensation. Decompensation may occur due to fatigue, stress, illness, or old age. When a system is "compensated", it is able to function despite stressors or defects. Decompensation describes an inability to compensate for these deficiencies. It is a general term commonly used in medicine to describe a variety of situations.

Medical term
For example, cardiac decompensation may refer to the failure of the heart to maintain adequate blood circulation, after long-standing (previously compensated) vascular disease (see heart failure). Short-term treatment of cardiac decompensation can be achieved through administration of dobutamine, resulting in an increase in heart contractility via an inotropic effect.[1]
Kidney failure can also occur following a slow degradation of kidney function due to an underlying untreated illness; the symptoms of the latter can then become much more severe due to the lack of efficient compensation by the kidney.[citation needed]
Some of the signs of chronic liver disease detectable on clinical examination are associated with decompensation.[citation needed]
Psychology
In psychology, the term refers to an individual's loss of healthy defense mechanisms in response to stress, resulting in personality disturbance or psychological imbalance.[2][3][4]

I've studied every face in it, and the only visible faces there who don't look either angry or miserable are Saudi. Schlump is pouting like a toddler who's just been told he can't have another cookie before dinner because it will spoil his appetite. Vance looks like he wants to punch the photographer.(I base this on the way he's staring glaring at the camera.) Hegseth looks like a kid who's just been called to the principal's office for getting in (yet another) fight on the playground. Rubio is trying to keep his face carefully expressionless, but can't quite hide his exhaustion and discomfort. I don't know who the other people are, but none of them look happy to be there.

Talk about a picture being worth a thousand words!

he's just a loud-mouthed, cruel figurehead. A puppet whose strings are being pulled by Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, Musk, Thiel, and others who authored P2025. At this point, they really don't need him anymore, but he is the figurehead around which they can amass the magas... who are too stupid to realize how badly they're being used, and how horribly treasonous they're acting.

They don't have all of P2025 completely in place yet. We are not yet a total theocratic state. The NAR is not going to let them do the 25A until they are in charge of the "soul" of this country. That's one of the main pieces of the puzzle not in place yet. And they aren't going to back down, because they know this is their last, best chance to finally achieve the power they've wanted for decades and decades.

P2025 isn't complete yet... even though they've made damned good headway. I haven't had the heart to look and compare lately, but I know my SS check is still coming in (so far, at least), and we still have healthcare, tho with MA it's iffy what they'll cover and how much more it will increase next year on copays, etc. But P2025 wants ALL social support gone... kaput! If there is any help it has to come from the Church, as far as they're concerned... and thus the hand-in-hand evil with the NAR.

Just look at what Bush/Cheney *tried* to do in the Middle East. They stripped government office, fired all the workers, disbanded departments and were on their way to remaking the government in THEIR own image (not in democracy's image). Sound familiar? They've tried it before that, too... and it never works. People won't stand to be stomped into the ground like that. They had to "disappear" pallets of money before they could disband their attempt in the ME and calm down the war lords. We, in the U.S. don't have war lords to fight for people. But if they keep pushing like they're doing, it's not going to be long before something akin to that starts to raise its head. If we're lucky, it'll be their own magas... as even now some are revolting and causing mayhem and death.

I think they only way out is for the devil to bite it on his own. But he's going to have to do it in plain sight... right in front of the whole country. Maybe fall down the entire length of the "big stairs" on AF1. Or have a seizure and heart attack/stroke just as he's rage screaming at a female reporter. Otherwise, we'll live forever with conspiracy theories of someone actually murdering him. There's only one thing for sure -- either he or America will die... period. We can't exist as our own sovereign country as long as he's in office, and he's not leaving unless he's dead. He has sold this country nearly lock, stock, and barrel to foreign countries as "investment" material. Meanwhile raking in the bribery cash as he gives these countries just what they want, and betraying every democratic alliance we used to have.

I'm ranting... I'm really angry... at hearing all the concessions he gave Saudi Arabia, and all HE stands to gain because of "OUR" concessions. Meanwhile, he makes our own people starve and die without healthcare. There isn't a hell deep enough or terrifying enough for him, IMNSHO.

The NAR is not going to let them do the 25A until they are in charge of the "soul" of this country.

What is the NAR? Google gave me several possibilities for those initials, and the only one that sounds remotely likely is the New Apostolic Reformation. I never heard of that movement until now though, so I'm not familiar enough with it to be sure. Is that who you're talking about, or is it something else?

I'm pretty sure I agree with this post on the whole, but NAR keeps tripping me up, lol. .

Thu Nov 20, 2025, 03:31 PM

and it's actually been in the news more and more now, I just blanked on writing it all out. It's the New Apostolic Reformation. These people used to be known as The Dominionists. If you've heard talk about the "7 Mountains" THIS is the group that's been trying to gain power and control in these seven aspects of American life. They really don't fall completely under the Evangelical tent, nor do they fall completely under the Charismatic tent (and they're certainly NOT mainline!). But they do share elements with each of the fringe belief systems. They're dangerous as hell. They ascribe to, and fully believe that anything they do in furtherance of their cause (creating an American Christian Theocracy) is 100% okay and totally forgiven beforehand... as long as they preface it with "I do this is the Lord's name." That includes lying, cheating, adultery and other sexual escapades, even murder. They believe once they capture the 7 Mountains of American life (or 7 Hills as it's sometimes called) then THEY will be bringing on the 2nd coming of Christ. But these people are the farthest from Christ's teachings as you can get. Even worse that Evangelical and Charismatic groups trying to rig the environment and wars around Israel, thinking they could then go to the Promised Land, convert all the Jews, and then THEY will bring on the 2nd coming.

You could say we've got two groups - one working domestically and one working overseas - to bring on their own version of the Apocalypse. I could do an entire article on these two... especially the Dominionists... and have, in the past. They scare the crap out of me because they actually believe... truly, deeply believe in burning the world down to bring what THEY think is "heaven on earth." My family's church was once a part of this, but schismed decades ago when the original church got too extremist and crazy.

Although I'm no longer Christian, I was raised deeply in the faith, and have generations of multiple preachers throughout my Mom's side of the family. All of them have been what I would deem "Charismatics." After going through all that, I ended up Pagan. (shrug)

Sorry if I gave you more than you could ever want to know!

I've heard of the Dominionists, but didn't know the new name. I've been avoiding the news for a while, because it's all so damned depressing. If it's posted on DU or shows up in a video by ond of the YouTubers I follow, I'll probably hear about it, but I know I'm probably missing a lot these days.

Christian dominionists by any name are the absolute worst, imo, for all the reasons you listed. Ugh, I can't stand them!.if you ever do decide to write an article about any of this stuff, I be happy to read it.

I grew up Christian, too (Baptist, to be exact), but all my Christian upbriging was before churches started getting all political. Back then, church was just about the Bible and stuff. I never heard one single word about politics or social issues of any kind. I'm now Episcopalian, which is one of the saner branches of Christianity imo, as well as being welcoming and affirming to all. I also have a lot of respect for other religions, including paganism.

I was impressed with how welcoming they were... and the space smelled of my circle room! (which made me feel at home). I also love the fact they've retained the beauty and important of ritual. People can find some peace and catharsis through ritual. It doesn't even have to be an overtly religious ritual, either... and minimally spiritual. The rhythms, movements, and gestures in a ritual are comforting by themselves.

Gotta tell ya though... I visited this Episcopalian church after having gone to church with my sister for a month of Sundays... and hers was Catholic! I had the privilege of seeing what I considered both ends of the candle side by side.

The other real disorder is in the decompensation of the press and certain sections of the populace in not recognizing this and acting accordingly. It’s not just TSF (“the sick fuck”) who is decompensated, but our government, society and culture as a whole. TSF is the symptom.
