at the Orson Welles Cinema in Cambridge
Mass in 1972. Those songs on the soundtrack album got a lot of airplay...especially loved Many Rivers to Cross. So plaintive...

22. Jimmy Cliff was the performing artist on the first year of Saturday Night Live

1975-76. I'm pretty sure it was the episode that was hosted by Dick Cavett. That show was the first time I saw and heard Jimmy Cliff and I was blown away. He was so good, and so powerful.

Rest in Peace Jimmy Cliff, and thanks for all the wonderful songs!
