As a Society, We've Done a Poor Job of Protecting Young People

from sexual predation. A very poor job. Right now, that's in the news, with people like Presidents and Billionaires being accused of having sex with underaged people. We're shocked that our President might have been such an offender. We shouldn't be suddenly shocked, though.

If you lined up all the Billionaires, Heads of State, CEOS and other C-Level Executives, Celebrities, Sports Stars, Actors, Musicians, Teachers, Ministers, Youth Leaders, and other people in high positions, you'd find a surprising percentage of them have been offenders, really. Not all have been caught or even accused, but offenders are a sizable part of that prominent group.

Their young victims don't speak up. They know better than to do that. Others who know, also won't speak up. They owe their jobs and livelihoods to that group of people. In far too many cases the offenses are never spoken of at all. They just happen, because young people don't have the same value as adults.

There are people reading this who have been youthful victims, one way or another. They know. There are probably some who have been the offenders, too. Such sexual offences are not uncommon. Just the opposite. People find excuses for that behavior - all sorts of excuses. Mostly, though, they never come to light in the first place.

We're just not very good at protecting our youngsters from being preyed on by adults. We should be better, but we aren't.

And that's why it happens in high places and goes unpunished. That is truly why that happens.

Gary Caradori, the investigator (and his 8-year-old son) who revealed the "Franklin Child Sex Ring" death in a plane crash was no coincidence. Yet many, if not most all, threads on that --among many other pedophiliacs in power -- were "moved" to Creative Speculation.

You could've stopped right there. Our generations (Baby Boomers and 1st half of Gen X) have definitely failed the younger generations, especially Zoomers and Gen Alpha. There will be a reckoning. (I guess we can be thankful that we'll likely all be dead by that time, having reigned over and sucked everything of value out of our Empire of Dust).
