Did Trump write this reaction, or did the DOJ? It's hard to tell.
By Conover Kennard December 23, 2025
The Department of Justice was forced to release more documents regarding notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, which they are now calling "false and unfounded." Of course, Pam Bondi's department didn't say that when they released documents on Bill Clinton. And there is a lot to unpack about Trump in the new release.
"The Department of Justice has officially released nearly 30,000 more pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein," the DOJ posted on the Bad App. "Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already. "
"Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epsteins victims," it added.

(128,834 posts)for no particular reason right before the 2020 election at a time when they could have been used against TFG but weren't. The Department of Jerkoffs says they weren't used against Trump because they were false. Huh? Maybe the reason that stuff wasn't made public at that time was because the charges against Ghislaine Maxwell were still pending (she was arrested in July of 2020 and finally tried in November of 2021) and was potentially evidence in that trial. DoJ - not yet completely corrupted at that time - would not have released trial evidence to the media.

(4,257 posts)Where's the discovery?
Where's the chain of custody?
Where's the investigation?
If the NSA (and others) have been hoovering up our messages for years, they must be able to cross-correlate them to actual people. Wasn't "parallel construction" a thing? (albeit probably illegal at the time).
Like everything from DOJ, it appears to be baseless BS.

Imagine Trump's DoJ's inserts some outrageous allegations that nobody would believe in the first place, and then says "look at how HONEST and TRANSPARENT we are, we're even releasing these submissions to the FBI!". Leaving out that these are accusations like "Trump and Epstein are ALIENS!".
Or if they're not made up entirely, perhaps they've cherry-picked a handful of the most not-believable accusations?
Easy to see IMHO why doing something like that would have value towards convincing the public that they've released everything, without actually doing anything remotely like that. And by highlighting (or even fabricating) particular, sketchy "submissions", they could be attempting to create a sense that ALL accusations against Trump are similarly ridiculous.
I guess it comes down to: What is it they included in the 30K documents? How credible is any of it? If it's mostly or entirely not credible in the first place, then I think I've sussed what's going on
Agree that there is this possibility.
