Frankly, it's a very steep uphill battle for justice and accountability here. Rittenhouse got off scot-free and he wasn't even an LEO.

It's not my intention to give you a hard time. Just to state my extremely strong belief.
Killing is a choice. Even in self-defense.
And not to detract from your valid main point ...
The real question for me is what justice really means in this case. Even if one individual is held accountable for his actions, others won't be deterred.
And in practical sense, the feds are handling the case, so any judgment can be, and likely will be tossed out.
