Impeachment is how our representatives can resist. i'm glad they are showing some fire. Jeffries as one more person in a crowd is a waste. Even as a speaker at an event--there are better speach-makers who aren't needed in the House.

Trump will replace Noem, when there's too much heat, with another goon who will follow his orders.
But the more the people who follow his orders are punished, impeached, or discarded, the harder it will be to find people to do his bidding, and the harder it will be to control the American people ahead of the midterms.

Just as we must demonstrate in the streets, our representatives must demonstrate resistance any way they can.
Resistance isn't meaningless. It's our only hope.

my understanding is that many republicans are not happy after watching Alex Pretti and Renee Good being murdered. Their constituents are not happy. Noem should be not only impeached and removed, but tried, convicted, and imprisoned.

15. Jeffries got a lot of blowback by not whipping votes against the DHS funding bill

He’s now trying to make it up by making this statement but, it’s ultimately an empty threat. The republicans aren’t going to impeach her and Johnson controls the agenda. Jeffries’ only real power is to keep his caucus in line to show that the party is united against the abuses taking place and they blew that opportunity.

Granted even that vote would have been symbolic, but it wouldn’t have given the administration any cover, implying that this funding is bipartisan in any way. It’s time to name and shame these dems that keep crossing paths. I understand their states or districts may be competitive but by not showing a united front, it makes it that much easier for republicans to ram through their agenda, knowing there’s enough Dems they can peel away on these votes.
