Team tRump was ordered by law to release all of them. Out of a couple million pages we got about 4 pages that were blacked out.
Can/should Dems include this crime when they decide about funding to avoid a shutdown? I don't really see any other options to get the fucking moron to release them. Can Epstien's estate legally release them?
We know that what ever is in them it is going to be extremely damaging to tRump. For him to start wars with Venezuela, Iceland/Greenland, and to encourage the immigration BS we know what ever it is, it is very, very bad. He has been involved in money laundering with Epstein and Russia. Putin likely has videos of tRump in compromising positions as well as about 35 years of money laundering evidence and the receipts.

(54,740 posts)They broke the law. Can we impeach him for the crime of keeping the files when the law says he should have done so only a few weeks ago? Does tRump get to do whatever he wants until he is out of office? What was the point of even reaching a deal for the files to be released? Was it a meaningless law for team tRump? Are they thumbing their noses at us?

(83 posts)Gotta admit, wish that law was on the books, now. But this is the hand we're all dealt with a corrupt DOJ and SCOTUS.
Along with the kitchen table issues of the cost of living/economy and executions, Dems can develop broad "apolitical" appeal to independent and a solid segment of R voters (no mater how small, they can swing tight House races) based on flipping the House to liberate Congressional oversight from Johnson and his MAGA overlord.
An uncomplicated message for uncomplicated voters. "On day one, we will..."
