Mission Greenland: Grace, Forgiveness, Confusion, Shame And Militant Resolve. The People Of Denmark And Greenland Have a Message For Their “Big Brother” That America Doesn’t Deserve To Hear

We didn’t come to Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark to sightsee. We came because something malignant is spreading out of the United States, and pretending otherwise is how you lose democracies. Authoritarianism doesn’t stay contained. It metastasizes. It crosses borders. It infects alliances. And if you don’t confront it early, it starts deciding who matters and who doesn’t.

That’s why I came with The Save America Movement —a coalition that represents roughly 280 million Americans who did not choose this, do not consent to this, and are being held hostage by a regime that has hijacked their flag, their institutions, and their moral standing. I was the lone Canadian in the group. That distinction would matter more than I understood when we arrived

With me were Americans who have given their lives—sometimes literally, always morally—to the idea of a better country. Denver Riggleman , a former congressman who chose truth over party and paid for it. The Ken Harbaugh Show, a decorated combat veteran who understands sacrifice in the most literal sense. Black Man Spy - Malcolm Nance , who has spent his career warning about authoritarian threats and is now watching one consume his own homeland. And SAM co-founder Mary Corcoran, carrying the impossible burden of leadership at a moment when America is being judged not by its ideals, but by its failures.

We came in humility, expecting caution. What we found instead was something far more overwhelming: grace.

Everywhere we went in Greenland and Denmark, people cried when they met us. Not performative tears. Not political tears. They felt RELEIF. Real, breaking, human emotion—because we showed up. Because someone finally bothered to say out loud that Trump is not America, that America is bigger than its worst president, and that allies abandoned don’t forget who stood with them when it mattered.
