Parallels between Trump, the Kennedy Center, and New York high society telling Ivanka & Jared to f*ck off in 2020

Remember the final days of Trump's first term? Princess Ivanka, preening herself for her new role as the toast of New York's high society, her rightful place as the guest of honor at the Met Gala, and a fabulous, glamourous life of being worshipped and adored by the wealthy and connected?

Except, New York told the "power couple" to fuck off, they were neither welcomed to nor wanted in the rarified atmosphere of New York's "elite."

So, they nursed their wounds by purchasing a $24 million mansion in Florida.

I've made this "joke" before, but I'm 100% convinced that if Trump sold "TRUMP DROPPINGS" to the MAGAts, they'd whip out their debit cards with alarming speed.

But ZERO PERCENT of that translates OUTSIDE OF THE CULT.

One year...and I can't remember if it was on Memorial Day or Veterans Day...Princess Ivanka took some heat for tweeting her SECRET INGREDIENT for a TRULY FABULOUS holiday weekend..."Champagne Popsicles."

I'm sure that there's a part of Ivanka that believes people hate her for "being pretty."

And, while Trump infamously called his own daughter "a piece of ass" on the Howard Stern show, I'm sure that Trump sees HIMSELF as a piece of ass. Look no further than the "here, my dear" photo of him on the bed in his bathrobe. "God's Gift to Women."

UNTIL HE STEPS OUT OF THE FENCE SURROUNDING THE MAGAt COMPOUND.

Trump's intrusion into the Kennedy Center was met with the same enthusiasm that Ivanka and Jared felt in New York, in 2020.

And, part of Trump's pathology is that he loves to be hated, because he's president, and you're not. Taxpayers foot the bill for his visits to the golf course, but you have to pay to play. And you will probably remember his first term boast about how he is served at dinner "because he's the president"...extra 1000 Island dressing for his salad, an extra dish of sauce for his chicken, and two scoops of ice cream on top of his chocolate cake, while all of the other diners are served one. Because he's the president, and you're not.

So the ticket buying public encouraging to go fuck himself, resulting in his sad attempt to "save face" by shutting the Kennedy Center down for two years while he turns it into Mar-a-Lago, isn't that far from what the Princess and Kushner experienced.

And they ALL EARNED IT. Every BIT of scorn and rejection.
