This is Kabuki theatre. I don't think the pastor is faking it. But Trump's false contrition

is expedient. He could personally apologize for Minneapolis. He has a pulpit and the press on him all the time. Poor people, farmers and people very angry at Good and Pretti getting slayed in the streets are his target audience. Those are the three groups he is tanking with because his policies are so bad. He's using the totem and trust people have in a black pastor. Of course Trump is well positioned in the shot and not surprised by the pastor at all. He can't apologize. TACO. He doesn't have the guts to apologize though he had to somehow. The vicious 'let's make the libtards cry' base will not tune into a black pastor (I'm not sure of the proper title for this religious leader). Trump- forked tongue much on the messaging?

wow -- with Trump standing behind him, a man (not sure who he is) offers this prayer: "We pray that he would be mindful of the poor and that he would be invested in the alleviation of suffering happening in the families preparing to bury their loved ones in Minneapolis."
