About AMAZON and using alternative merchants...

It's not an all or nothing proposition. It's not a purity test. Sometimes there is no alternative. But, when possible, use an alternative. If we all do this, the message will be sent, it will be heard, and it will be felt.

I'll end with R.I.P. Washington Post. It seems Bezos has gutted the iconic newspaper.

Stay strong. RESIST!

We just have to do something. There are enough of us to make this stop if we all try. It’s not a purity test.

...and the last time was at least fifteen years ago. I find very little on it that I absolutely can't get somewhere else, even though I may pay a bit more for it elsewhere. (Better that than lining J. Bozos' pocket...)

A lot of times the alternative is Walmart, Home Despot, or one of the other big conglomerates.

It was quite liberating.

It turns out I never really needed anything from Amazon.

My needs may be few. At one point in my life I was a crazy dumpster diving homeless person so simply having enough money to buy groceries still seems a luxury to me. I may not be the person to ask about "purity tests." I realize I can be quite judgmental, which is a serious flaw in my personality.

But I'll still say Bezos and Trump can go to hell. They are not making the world a better place.

I find them the merchant of last resort these days.

I usually can get it cheaper elsewhere
