National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said lower U.S. jobs numbers can be expected in the months ahead as population growth slows, Bloomberg reports.

The January report is due to be released on Wednesday.

One has nothing to do with the other excepting potentially one a 10 or 12 year lag.
Also, slower population growth shouldn't make unemployment numbers go up. The denominator is getting smaller.
He made this up as cover for the failure of their policies.

Could it be that Trump has tanked the tourist industry?
Could it be that Trump has forced hardworking immigrants into hiding, removing their contributions to the economy, both on the production and consumption side?
Could it be that some people just refuse to participate fully in this economic environment for fear being assaulted by ICE ?

Could the economy be in trouble because of these reasons among others?
