prodded to investigate crimes especially against children.

We read the words. We see and hear the man and men, some from beyond the grave. We read the statements of the victims, also some from beyond the grave.

And yet---and yet---the SCOPE of the unutterable horror renders us almost catatonic, overwhelmed are we by the required, the DEMANDED, response to such heinous acts: a penalty justified yet impossible without fair trials.

For though a Madame Defarge might be welcome, we must forbear with Lady Justice instead.

I remember as a kid the President having an affair unleashed a media circus. Now the President has allegations of raping underage girls and no one lifts a finger to report on it. I never want to hear about the “liberal media” again.
