Things are so bad under Trump, we often forget what an awful president Bush was. Trump gets the prize as #1 worst president of all time though.

I remember the big sigh of relief when Obama was elected and the world returned to relative sanity. I could have never anticipated someone much, much worse.

He was elected twice. He had a scandal free presidency. He wasn't perfect, but he did pretty well. He was liked around the world. He was articulate and compassionate. He is incredibly intelligent. He respected the constitution and the separation of powers. He surrounded himself with brilliant people and not with sycophants.

And now we have a racist evil cabal in charge.

Those racists didn't go away, which turned out to be a blessing for Trump - they were his primary constituency and he knew it. His inherent racism was upfront and blatant without apology.

He always reminded me of the Steve Carrell character in "The Office." Cheney and Rumsfeld were pretty much running that show. But when we think of a convergence of industrial-strength stupid, record-breaking crazy, and Biblical evil, Trump and his orcs have all three of those douchebags beat by a country lightyear.

I suspect he's lost his place in line as the worst American President in modern history.

Agent Orange can finally boast without shame:

He's won a title he richly deserves and his infamous legacy will survive long after his dirt nap.
