(17,441 posts)Voting in Dallas County has been extended to 9:00 p.m. because of voting issues. They are trying to get the same extension in Williamson County.

(17,441 posts)My sister and I went to early vote in our little red neck part of Texas. I opted for an electronic ballot but she swears she wasn't given the choice and got a paper ballot. It took her a while!!!! But she wanted to blacken the circles completely she said because she didn't want there to be any question.
When I was finished, I went over to her table and just said "I'll be outside". One of the election workers came running over like I was some kind of criminal to see what I was doing. (My sister is older and in frail health and I didn't want her looking for me). He told me I could wait at the end of the room. I told him that I'd wait outside in the sunshine.
I felt like he was having his moment of power!!! LOL

Someone is terrified Crockett might win.
Meanwhile, shit weasle who bought eps ranch had 60% of the vote last I checked. Deplorables.

(29,304 posts)speculation is that Hispanic voters really like Talarico's religious talk and he's performing very well with them.
I would rather see Crockett as the Senate needs a fighter like her and I don't trust Talarico not to become Fetterman 2.0 (nothing to base that on, just my thoughts.)

(2,723 posts)What a clusterf×ck!!!
On edit they just released Dallas county and she is getting 60%
Kornackis benchmark for her is 70%
Talarico still ahead by 70k votes.
There will be no decision made tonight per MS just now. Crockett was on stage and said good night...no results.

Turn on your TV...there will be NO RESULTS TONIGHT. It all hangs on the Dallas County votes that were put on hold by the SC.

(60,898 posts)It will depend on how big the margin is once almost all the vote is counted. If the margin is sufficiently high that even with all possible Dallas, military etc votes outstanding, he is above 50 percent, the winner will be known.

(2,723 posts)For one, his chances of having a stroke within 6 years is virtually none. He is already a million times more fit than Fetterman ever was.
He also never chased anybody with guns; and his message is about love, not bullying people.
