MSNOW just said Crockett & Talerico & Dem party chair should come out and say ALL VOTES WILL BE COUNTED

before any results. Right now there are a bunch of people who don't know if their votes will be counted or not because of the wierd shenanigans with the TX supreme court and jerking around the timing in Dallas County.
No link. Just heard it.

1. Talarico is the right candidate and a class act. This seals the deal for me

He could declare victory based on Wassermans call but his support for democracy and respect for his opponent is enough to stop him from doing that.

and demand that all votes be counted. He had nothing to do with the Judge stopping the Dallas vote but Crockett voters who were waiting in line for 2 to 2 1/2 hours and then sent away are going to be pissed come November.

Magats are evil smart.

4. THat's what the MSNOW people were saying. That they both need to come out and say all votes willl be counted

before anything is announced. Their point was that Dems are all about all the votes being counted, and integrity and trust in the candidates.

All votes need to be counted. I want Talarico to win, but I want him to win fairly.

If Crockett wins, I'll support her and be there in November to vote.

What pisses me off is just exactly what you said - there will be some who won't support the nominee because "their" person didn't win. That's why Texas can't get its shit together.

For heaven's sake - whichever wins, EVERYONE needs to vote for the Democratic nominee in November. It's not Talarico's fault (nor Crockett's) that Ken Paxton screwed with the voting.

3. Yes, all the votes cast during the Dallas County extended hours should be counted.

That is Jasmine's stronghold.

Unfortunately, in the early vote, she is at 61% in Dallas county. Her benchmark for the county is 70%, so it is extremely unlikely that the same day and extended hours vote will be so massively different that she would pull it out.

She has under-performed pretty consistently across the board.

What if Magats do this in November? Magats want to screw around with votes in the big cities where Democrats win.

Jasmine Crockett is no Bob Dole, even if she has no path she should raise holy hell.

12. Every person who gives a shit about free and fair elections should raise hell.

it is not about HER, and whether SHE should raise hell. It is about US.

It's not just that the Republicans refused to hold a joint primary using the county system people have used for over a decade, the county election site (and I'm sure other sources) provided the WRONG information.

https://www.dallascountyvotes.org/in-person/

For the March 3, 2026 Primary Election Early Voting period, voters may vote at any countywide Vote Center. On Election Day, voting will be precinct-based, requiring voters to vote at their assigned partys polling place.

When Voting in Person whether at an Early Voting Vote Center or your assigned Partys Polling Place, voters must be mindful of the provisions established by the Texas Election Code, ensuring a smooth and fair voting experience for all.

This is precisely the kind of voter suppression tactics we MUST defend against. And one place to start is giving whatever we can to build up state democratic party infrastructure and support election protection organizations.

From the Texas Democratic Party
https://www.texasdemocrats.org/media/hundreds-of-voters-in-dallas-and-williamson-counties-affected-by-polling-location-confusion

The Dallas and Williamson County Republican Parties refused to agree to a joint primary election. That decision forced voters out of the countywide voting system they've used for over a decade and sent them scrambling to find their assigned precinct. The result? Confusion, long lines, and working people being told they're at the wrong location with no clear path to cast their ballot.

6. Not the point. Not about who wins; it' s about voters being able to trust that their vote will be counted.

ANd that the candidates believe that and are willing to stand for it.
