Not only is Crumb the 1st saying we will

escort the tankers but he is saying we will provide insurance for those tankers and cargo according to an article from "Yahoo Finance" dated 03/03/26 sourcing an article from Bloomberg with a byline from Jennifer A. Dlouhy, Ben Bartenstein and Ari Natter.

As the article notes Crumb The 1st is not only putting our ships on the line but the American taxpayers will be picking up the tab to reimburse companies for any damaged or lost ships and cargo. Probably for any environmental cleanup as well. The article notes:

"........the US International Development Finance Corporation would offer insurance “at a very reasonable price” to help ensure the flow of energy and other commercial trade in the Gulf. In addition, he said “if necessary, the United States Navy will begin escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, as soon as possible.”

The article goes on to note that this idea of providing insurance is way beyond anything this agency has ever done before:

"This could also be a gargantuan undertaking at a scale the DFC hasn’t handled before. The closest that the agency has come to offering coverage was providing political risk insurance to Ukraine after the Russian invasion began, according to a person familiar with the matter, but that was to insure new projects, not existing assets."

But simpleton proclamations from the fascists don't really get to the heart of the matter about how to even figure the risk and charge a correct premium as the article notes:

"Some of the world’s largest maritime insurance mutuals withdrew war risk insurance cover for ships entering the Persian Gulf as the industry struggles to work out how to price the cost of covering vessels sailing into the waterway."

So if the experts in this kind of insurance are "struggling" to figure it out to the point where they have withdrawn coverage then how likely is it that an inexperienced agency of the government is going to get it right and not put the taxpayer on the hook for many, many billions of dollars? Those ships and that oil aren't cheap. It's actually not likely they even care about getting right and actually just want the PR to calm the market for the present time. When they get it wrong they'll just use that as a pretext to "make Iran pay for it" by seizing oil like they did in Venezuela. Knowing these crooks they'll leave the taxpayers on the hook and just pocket the money.

And of course this is the one thing he IS NOT starting as his own personal business, but rather making us, the US Taxpayers, the insurers of last resort.

If this is such a great idea why aren't Junior and Gumby forming a trump LLC to do it?

He’s just saying whatever words he needs to say to keep the tankers moving.

You’re in greedy, grabby hands with Donald Trump.
