I have been waiting to hear what Christiane Amanpour has to say about the Iran situation

There just aren't many news sources I trust anymore, but I do trust Christiane.

She spoke with Jon Stewart and I found this transcript of the conversation, for anyone who wants to get non delusional information about what is going on.

1. Is her mother still alive?

She may have to be careful what she says.

2. I think she is the #1 journalist - I was sad to hear the news that she is not doing that well.

I watch her program every day and although she is not there a lot these days just saw her some this week.

3. As an aside, she hasn't posted on Bluesky in months,which is unfortunate.

I know her plate is full.

4. Unfortunately she is battling cancer, again.

She was the first person I looked for when the news broke. I'm glad she was able to speak a bit with Jon Stewart. She is by far one of my most trusted journalists, and I hope she can speak out on this when she can, and I hope she can beat this current battle with cancer.

5. She is courageous and tough.

I hope she gets through this, and continues her good work for years to come.
