.... wants a piece of the Strait of Hormuz tollgate plaza action. Split it 50% to 50% with Iran.

Sorta like a protection racket,... it would be a shame if your ship got hit by a missile and sunk.

A mafia godfather trained by his shyster lawyer not to leave any fingerprints. Evidently he's not smart enough to realize doing g stuff out in the open not only leaves fingerprints but text and video admissible as court's evidence. I hope some of the repukes grow enough backbone to hold him accountable, although I also know that's not likely.

It contravenes Articles 26 and 44 of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

But that didn't stop Trump hailing it as a "beautiful" idea and suggesting the US would share the proceeds. Nor doing a bunch of other stuff that's against international law.

Ironically, Iran is a signatory of UNCLOS. The US has never signed nor ratified it.
