The moron can't get what he wants but at the same time knows, China, India, etc. will all make seperate deals to resume shipments. Thus making him look even more stupid. So by blocking everyone, he's hoping it will put more pressure on the international community to goad Iran into doing what he wants. Fairly sure that isn't going to work either, Iran has been preparing for this for decades. We had a bit of a regional cold war with them that allowed for the straight not to be messed with. The moron crossed the line and made a huge mess.

"I have also instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas," Trump said.

It's none of his fucking business what the ships of other nations do or pay. More war crimes.
