Gas prices are a bigger threat to Trump than the war specifically...

But the war is causing the high gas prices.

Trump is more worried about his personal political fortunes than he is about how many people may die in his war of choice.

So, if he had to choose right now between lower gas prices or a defeat in the war, he would likely choose lower gas prices?

Because, they are a threat to him personally. He is protected by his MAGA Republican shield in the House and Senate. If that disappears, he is in dire political circumstances.

He needs political protection from the MAGA Republicans.

Trump just claimed gas prices are down. He thinks high prices are making Americans rich. He isn't really actively engaged in the war, no troops on the ground.

He wont accept less than Obama got. And no one in the White House is telling him anything remotely close to the truth. He thinks his poll numbers are great, and the economy is booming. I don't think he lives in reality even a little bit.
