Pete Hegseth arrived in France for official D-Day commemoration events, bringing along his wife and six children on what appears to be a taxpayer-funded family trip.

(15,658 posts)Still, I find it a bit grimly funny that "The Media" doesn't mention the additional amount of taxpayer funded staff and security that also accompanies a personally group accompanying someone on an official business.
I can't bring my family on official business unless I pay for everything separately and take leave to spend time with them.
