Pete Hegseth arrived in France for official D-Day commemoration events, bringing along his wife and six children on what appears to be a taxpayer-funded family trip.

I think children should learn history. I think exposing children and other children seeing them there would make it a teaching moment.
But Hegseth. 7

Not only does she have to mind six kids, but she has to babysit him.

They both had good jobs at Faux New York when they were "working" there, so an au par, "assistant", or nanny would be an expected and invisible bit of household luggage for them to haul around with them on travel if they were also bringing kids.

Still, I find it a bit grimly funny that "The Media" doesn't mention the additional amount of taxpayer funded staff and security that also accompanies a personally group accompanying someone on an official business.
I can't bring my family on official business unless I pay for everything separately and take leave to spend time with them.
