Who will Trump choose as his successor?

Most recent reports suggest that Marco Rubio or JD Vance as the frontrunners to take over the spoils.

But a couple of days ago, Trump had some glowing remarks about his Secretary of Defense (War) Pete Hegseth.

I think this is the direction we are headed.

First - one would have to assume a world in with Donald actually CARED about something outside of his narcissistic and bloated self. He doesn't.

And secondly - would it make any real difference? Having seen good evidence that Donnie's coattails - are tissue thin, and remarkably suspect. An 'endorsement' could very well be the thing that sinks ...

12. I've thought Maga would support Jr in the past with an endorsement from Trump, but not the Republican Party.

But now? I think they're so far gone, that if Trump says it's Jr, it will be Jr. What might save us is I don't think Jr would want it. Eric would, but no one likes Eric.

I think Trump might let those two work out the next two Republican presidential tickets. Vance may want to write another book, though. If I had to pick, I'd say Rubio.
