Our beloved President was in it to make our lives better, not to make his life better or richer. The same reasons that HRC ran. The sane reasons Joe Biden ran. The same reasons Kamala Harris ran.
Here's one example of PBO listening to a heckler. There's so many examples of his articulate and generous demeanor.

Another point that I wanted to make earlier (I've been a tad tired the last few days so bear with me) is that Obama was raised by people who showed love and he had a support system. There's a stark difference on how they were raised.
I read Mary Trump's book and she basically said that her grandfather was too busy making money and being gone all the time. She said that her grandmother stopped taking care of her own children and the older kids had to take care of the younger children.
Her father was ridiculed by both her grandfather and uncle, her father Fredrick Jr. was suppose to have been the one taking over the family business. He went into the military and became a pilot instead and they ridiculed him apparently his career choice was beneath the Trumps "standards". *cough, cough, cough*
