What is sexism and misogyny

Sexism is a system of prejudice and discrimination based on sex or gender.

Misogyny is the outright hatred, contempt, or prejudice specifically directed at women.

In short, sexism is a broader ideology, while misogyny is a hostile behavior used to enforce it

1. Yes, we women know when we are hated

And a lot of people in the Republican party hate women

And evident in many areas of life.

5. Yes the MAGA hated of women seems to have swept into the general population.

Women are reporting that previous areas of their city are now unsafe when they
walk home from school or work. Males harass them with impunity.
No consequences.

Men have given up on polite behavior women are reporting.

A good friend of mine moved to a bigger midwest city last year.
She reports that the male drivers there are unbelievable in their behavior towards women.
Men roll down the windows and scream, yell, curse, flip off women all the time.
They even approach her car at stop lights and pound on her window.
She usually has no idea what she has done to incur their wrath.
She is an excellent driver but they find fault with her somehow.

7. It was always there but it is definately more widespread now

It feels like they believe they now have permission to behave and act this way with no consequences.

I think we all know why they have this belief.

8. Yes, when our leaders get away with heinous crimes against female adults and children

everyone else thinks women are fair game.
