The polls are getting dangerously low for the Republicans...

And they are beginning to show the pressure.

If today's meeting between Trump and the Republicans is any indication, they are beginning to crack.

Yesterday, four Republicans voted with the Democrats to withdraw the forces from Iran. He doesn't realize it but they are saving the country from a costly war and saving Trump from himself. This was the best deal possible for him. There is no honorable way out. Just as there was no honorable way in.

In today's meeting, there was a reported shouting match between Trump and Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. They were shouting at each other. Obviously the nerves are frazzled. Trump did not like it that the Senate voted for the War Powers Act, the first time in history that both the House and Senate had voted for the Act.

No doubt, they are reading the polls and Trump keeps falling farther in the hole with each passing day. Republicans see their power slipping away and they do not want Trump in their districts. Unlike the past, he has become poison to their campaigns.

Although it may be too late to save their seats, it is still refreshing to see a living, breathing Republican show a backbone.

It's the "others" we need to worry about.

And he told them that the USPS would not be delivering paper ballots to those states that refuse to give up their voter rolls.

There are many polls.

Pick the one you like and swear by it.

Swear at the others.

....................
That's why candidates sometimes refer to mystery polls that no one can locate to check.

Which is why I'm surprised they didn't pass the Save Act. It was like they volunteered to go on this collision course from the time Trump came into office, fully aware that their time in the sun would be over come the midterms.
