At least for one term. He could take the JD route and vacation for most of the time. We just need the name recognition at the ballot for whoever we pick for Prez.

I know its a pipe dream but the DNC needs to start thinking outside the box. The age of traditional politicians is over. America has elected a circus clown as Pres twice in the last 10 years.

If Obama could do it, so could Trump.

Nobody needs to start thinking outside the constitutional box.

These results would be very encouraging if the respondents were ID'ed as registered voters who are planning to vote in November. However, I could find no info on the poll's methodology in the original article,

https://www.gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-06-29-most-popular-pols-parties

Perhaps another reader will dive deeper to learn about this pollster, whom I've never heard of, FWIW. For the moment, I'm putting this poll result into my "Hopium" file ( but I'm eager to be proven wrong!).

No we are not, YET! I want people in full on panic mode. I want people so scared that we're going to get 2 more years of this crap that they drag their friends and family to the voting booth.

87-some million eligible voters didn't vote in 2024. I hate the non-voter almost as much as I hate Trumpers.
